Haugen to host town halls on April 17 and 18 at four 10th District locales

OLYMPIA – Area residents can hear a report from this year’s legislative session, voice concerns and ask questions of Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen, D-Camano Island, at any of four town halls next week.

Haugen will host a variety of afternoon and evening sessions in Snohomish and Skagit counties and on Whidbey Island on April 17 and 18.

 “I want to hear what people are thinking about or would like to know about,” Haugen said. “I look forward to addressing questions about specific legislation or about issues in general.”

Town halls are scheduled for the following times and locations:

Monday, April 17

  • Snohomish County – 4 p.m. at the Josephine Sunset Home, 9901 272nd Place N.W., Stanwood 
  • Skagit County – 7 p.m. at the La Conner High School Library, 502 N. Sixth St.

Tuesday, April 18

  • North/Central Whidbey – 4 p.m. at the Coupeville Recreational Hall, 901 N.W. Alexander St.
  • South Whidbey – 7 p.m. at the Langley United Methodist Church, 301 Anthes Ave.
