Rasmussen honors Eatonville girls soccer champions with Senate resolution

OLYMPIA – A resolution honoring the Eatonville High School girls soccer team was passed Feb. 24 in the state Senate.

The team was on hand to witness the ceremony along with Head Coach Rollie Arthur and assistant coaches Jessic Morrish and Susie Danielson.

“I’m very proud of our Eatonville girls,” said Sen. Marilyn Rasmussen, D-Eatonville, resolution sponsor. “Not only are they great athletes, they’re outstanding students. You just couldn’t ask for better ambassadors.”

The team sat in the Senate gallery to watch the resolution pass and had its picture taken with Rasmussen in the Senate chambers.
