OLYMPIA – The Senate’s 2007–09 capital budget, approved
this past weekend, includes almost $4 million for Shoreline
Community College and $1 million for Saint Edward Park.

OLYMPIA – Physical therapy can play a critical part in a
victim’s recovery following an accident or injury. However, people
undergoing physical therapy procedures can be easily injured by
someone who is untrained.

Senate passes ballot check-box bill
OLYMPIA – In the last primary election, more than 100,000
Washington voters were disenfranchised because of their failure to
check the box indicating party affiliation. The Senate today passed
legislation to prevent that from happening again.

Well, we’re nearly halfway through the 2007 session. I
recently moved back into the historic John A. Cherberg
Building after it underwent an extensive remodel and
restoration. We’re now on the second floor of the same
building where Senate committee meetings are held. My view
of the Capitol Building will be soon be obscured by the
famous cherry tree blossoms that bloom every spring.
