Rockefeller announced chair of
Senate Water, Energy & Telecommunications Committee
OLYMPIA — Sen. Phil Rockefeller, D-Kitsap
County, has been selected to lead the Water, Energy
& Telecommunications (WET) Committee by the Washington
State Senate Democratic Caucus. Sen. Ed Murray,
D-Seattle, was named to serve as vice chair.
Rockefeller’s selection follows the resignation of
previous chair Sen. Erik Poulsen, D-Seattle.
Poulsen has resigned from the Legislature.
