Marr, Barlow to discuss health care at
town hall meeting
OLYMPIA — Two local legislators will host a town
hall meeting with a focus on health care issues.
Spokane Democrats Sen. Chris Marr, a member of the
Senate Health & Long-Term Care Committee, and
Rep. Don Barlow, a member of the House Health Care &
Wellness Committee, will meet with constituents to discuss
health care issues, including long-term care insurance,
nursing homes, sale of Deaconess and Valley Hospitals,
Medicare copayments, and help with prescriptions for
low-income patients.
The meeting will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on
Friday, Nov. 16, at the South Hill Senior Center, 3151 E.
27th in Spokane. The meeting is free and open to the public.
