Haugen schedules post-session town hall meetings

OLYMPIA — Area residents are invited to hear updates from the conclusion of this year’s legislative session from Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen, D-Camano Island, during a series of town hall meetings.

“The feedback I get during these community meetings is extremely valuable,” Haugen said. “The Legislature tackled a lot of important issues this session, and it’s important for me to hear the thoughts of the people in my district and get inspiration for future legislation.”

Town halls are scheduled at eight locations on five dates, including:

Wednesday, April 16

  • 3:30-5:00 p.m. — La Conner High School — 2103 N. Sixth Street, La Conner
  • 7:00-8:30 p.m. — Oak Harbor School District Office — 350 S. Oak Harbor St., Oak Harbor

Thursday, April 17

  • 3:00-4:30 p.m. — Coupeville High School — 501 South Main Street, Coupeville
  • 7:00-8:30 p.m. — Bayview Senior Center — 14594 SR525 - Langley

Saturday, April 19

  • 1:00-2:30 p.m. — Stillaguamish Senior Center — 18308 Smokey Pt. Blvd., Arlington
  • 4:30-6:00 p.m. — Stanwood Public Utility District — 9124 271st St. NW, Stanwood

Tuesday, April 22

  • 6:00-7:30 p.m. — Fidalgo Fire Station — 14825 Deception Rd., Anacortes

Thursday, May 1

  • 6:00-7:30 p.m. — Camano Senior & Community Center — 606 Arrowhead Rd., Camano Island
