Greenbridge Plaza in White Center
$200,000 for Greenbridge, a new, mixed-income community designed around a village plaza. The $165 million project will feature 300 rent-subsidized units, 229 workforce rental units and 474 for-sale units, in an array of designs, complemented by parks and trails. $300,000 for a Youth and Family Center within the Greenbridge community

Ruth Dykeman Children’s Center
$27,000 for the Ruth Dykeman Children’s Center, which has more than 80 years of experience as a not-for-profit social service agency helping children, families and communities build on their strengths.

Sound Way Property preservation
$500,000 to help preserve seven acres of Seattle’s rare remaining undeveloped land. The property is part of the Duwamish Greenbelt that protects the Riverview neighborhood and South Seattle Community College. It’s a beautiful native ecosystem that provides a buffer to air and noise pollution.

West Seattle Community Resource Center
$500,000 for an innovative community resource center that brings together a mix of services for families in need: the West Seattle food bank, historic Cooper Cultural Arts Center and Croft Place town homes, which will provide both short-term emergency services and transformational services to help low-income families.

Ercolini Park acquisition
$245,000 for this 0.53 acre property, acquired by Seattle Parks and Recreation in September 2005. Late in 2006, the existing structures will be removed and the site will be open to the public. |

FAUNTLEROY FERRY TERMINAL PRESERVATION This project replaces worn-out systems at the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal in order to ensure the terminal stays in safe, sound and efficient operating condition. This ensures the viability of the Fauntleroy-Southworth-Vashon `Triangle` Ferry Routes. Fauntleroy Terminal Preservation This project conducts minor preservation work to keep the Fauntleroy Terminal in sound and efficient operating condition.

Vashon Terminal Preservation This project preserves the Vashon Ferry Terminal in sound and efficient operating condition. Its primary focus is the replacement or refurbishment of terminal systems and structures when they reach the end of their life expectancies. Vashon Park and Ride Property Purchase This project acquires a park-and-ride lot near the Vashon Ferry Terminal. WSF will charge a parking fee to generate income for the Ferry System.

Tahlequah Terminal Preservation This project conducts minor preservation work at the Tahlequah Ferry Terminal. Tahlequah Adjacent Property Purchase This project acquires property adjacent to the Tahlequah Ferry Terminal.

Safe Routes to School $236,500 for McMurray Middle School and Chautauqua Elementary School to increase students’ safety when they walk or bike to schools. Improvements will include the installation of sidewalks, crosswalks, signage, lighting and bicycle racks. This “safe routes to school” money also funds an education curriculum, which includes a bicycle safety program and a walking/pedometer program.
