$500,000 for construction of one of only three private, nonprofit performing and visual arts colleges in the nation.

$3 million for to help continue the state's commitment to the home of the Pacific Northwest Ballet and Seattle Opera.

$400,000 to maintain facilities for this program, which provides culinary training to homeless people, dropouts, and former addicts, preparing them to work as cooks in delis, cafes, and restaurants.

Pacific Science Center
$900,000 to maintain facilities at the first U.S. museum founded as a science and technology center.

Myrtle Edwards Park
$800,000 for beach restoration and expansion at the park, which has fantastic views of the Olympics, Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound.

$290,000 for north end sailing center

South Lake Union Park
$300,000 for development phase 1 - planned to begin early in 2006. Plans include: demolish existing bulkhead and upgrade and stabilize the lake edge with the creation of a new bulkhead wall with the ability to moor boats; new metal pedestrian bridge with wood decking; and lighting.

YouthCare
$350,000 to maintain facilities at this shelter for homeless youth.

Pike Market Senior Center
$310,000 to maintain facilities at this center, which provides social services, employment services, food bank, and hot meals program.
